Caring for planet Earth isn’t something we take lightly. And we realize it isn’t just a matter of turning off lights or removing single plastic water bottles from the bedrooms, although these are important.We pledge to constantly seek to better the ways in which we impact our planet.
Our Hotel supports sustainable design and construction and the integration of sustainable procurement in our purchasing process. We have recently installed solar panels on our roof to generate clean electricity that can be utilised on site thus lowering our business demand for electricity from the grid.

Diverting waste from landfills by working with Panda through our recycling process
Taps and Urinals are on sensor
Various sensor activated lighting throughout the building
Working with Frylite whose ethos is building a circular economy by collecting used cooking oil and converting into renewable energy
Wynn's was constructed of mass concrete in the 1930s, concrete has thermal mass providing substanial energy savings during its lifetime
Single use key per room eliminating the use of multi plastic key cards
Giving our guests the choice to change linens or towels
These proactive steps are visible in our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint,consumption of energy and production of waste.
